FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How should I dress?
Plan to dress as for hiking in the mountains: sport shoes or hiking boots. You can bring gloves if you have some. You can keep your sunglasses or eyeglasses during the flight.
I booked for next Friday at 2:45PM. Is it good?
Paragliding depends on the weather conditions. For your safety and the overall quality of your flight, we might have to reschedule a new appointment. Of course, we'll keep you informed as soon as we know if the weather forecast looks unsuitable for flying.
Where will we fly?
From the famous site of the "Coupe Icare" at Saint Hilaire du Touvet to the wonderful forests of Lans en Vercors, from the high mountains of Allevard or Chamrousse to the beautiful landscapes of Saint Pierre en Chartreuse, we'll choose the best place according to the flight you want to perform.
I get dizzy when I stand on top of a cliff. Can I still do it?
Good news! You get dizzy from the heights while your feet stay on the ground. Not when you fly. The small hassles you might get are that little apprehension before taking off, and motion sickness during the flight.
That's my case. I get seasick/carsick quite often.
If it's your first paragliding experience, then we advise you to go for the Discovery Tandem Flight. It lasts less than 20 minutes, and one usually doesn't experience motion sickness in such an amount of time. You may also get yourself some preventive medications before the flight.
